INTENDED USE

The Multi-Drug Rapid Test Cassette is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of multiple drugs and drug metabolites in whole blood or serum or plasma at the following cut-off concentrations:

• Most Effective when a person can not provide a urine sample.
• Blood analysis may be appropriate in situations when it is suspected that a person is actively under the influence of drugs or alcohol and that cant give the tester a urine sample.
• Since drugs are rapidly metabolized and eliminated from the body, blood analysis offers a very brief detection window.
• Drugs in blood are typically detectable within minutes to hours, depending on the drug and the dose, versus one to several days in urine.
• When urine or other matrices are not ideal, Test One offers drug testing of blood specimens.

• Speed: Results are available almost immediately, allowing for quick decisions.
• Convenience: There's no need to send samples to a lab, which can save time and money.
• Accuracy: When used correctly, rapid drug tests are just as accurate as traditional lab tests.

PROCEDURE:

1. Bring the pouch to room temperature before opening it. Remove the test cassette from the sealed pouch and use it within one hour.

2. Place the cassette on a clean and level surface.

For Venipuncture Whole blood specimen:

Hold the dropper vertically and transfer 1 drop of whole blood (approximately 40 l) to the specimen well, then add 2 drops of buffer (approximately 80 l), and start the timer. See illustration below.

For Fingerstick Whole blood specimen:

To use a capillary tube: Fill the capillary tube and transfer approximately 40l of fingerstick whole blood specimen to the specimen area of test cassette, then add 2 drops of buffer (approximately 80 l) and start the timer. See illustration below.

4. Wait for the colored line(s) to appear. Read results at 5 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes.
